Welcome to Quintessential Meats

Here at Hornbuckle Farm we take great pride in producing top quality meats at Hawthorn Hill, Warfield, East Berkshire, where our family have farmed since 1944 for four generations.

We are able to supply you with all cuts of lamb, pork, and beef and specialise in producing dry cured bacon and our own homemade sausages and burgers. These are made here on the farm by James, who is a traditional highly skilled butcher, with a keen eye for detail, having worked in this profession all his life.

Charlotte grew up on the farm, and was involved in all aspects of farming, but the animals are her real passion. After meeting at Agricultural College, and now with two children, we are returning to the farm with great excitement.

Our Butchers Barn is open for you to visit:

Tuesday 9am - 2pm, Wednesday 9am - 2pm,

Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 5pm & Saturday 9am - 4pm.

We have a limited amount of our products on the website, so if there is something else you require please contact us.

We offer a fabulous catering service for all BBQ's, Hog Roasts and Lamb Roasts.
